Before committing to my children's book series, I held a test run with several award-winning illustrators — I wasn't willing to settle. I needed someone who could chisel my lead character out of granite, giving him the kind of presence that stays with a child long after the book is closed. Fatima didn't just meet that bar, she exceeded it, and that same care carried through every character and scene in the series.

I've had the pleasure of working with Fatima on my first children's book, My Busy Builder Brain, and we're already working together on the second. She listens carefully, welcomes feedback, and always goes the extra mile to bring ideas to life while adding her own creativity and heart to every illustration. She's patient, kind, and an absolute joy to work with.

Fatima is an excellent illustrator and has done two books — working on a third now. Her use of color is what brought me to use her for my stories. I went through fifty illustrators' works and chose her art over all others. Her use of color and emotion attracts the eye and the viewer to the cover and the pages within the storyline. Picking her will highlight your story.
